Here you choose loose diamonds and coloured gemstones under the loupe before anything is set. That way you know exactly what you are paying for. Inherited stones we set precisely into a modern new design. We build the ring so that the wedding band later sits flush against it – no rubbing, no gap.

You tell us your range – we put together the best stone for it, in looks and in quality, with no sales pressure. We compare cuts and carat weights side by side under neutral daylight.
Bring a ring of hers that fits (measuring takes 2 minutes). Otherwise we make it in a standard width: the precise adjustment after the proposal is included in our service.
We draw the setting tuned exactly to the proportions of the chosen stone. You check the claw positions, the profile height and the proportions before approving.
Casting, forging, setting and polishing at our own bench behind the shop. Your gemstone and your gold never leave the building.
You receive your ring in its case together with our own workshop certificate, listing all materials and weights. If you need a separate insurance appraisal or an external laboratory certificate, please tell us in advance – we include those third-party costs transparently in the quotation. They can also be issued later at any time against a handling fee.

You want to propose, but your partner should have a say in the design? Give her the gemstone you chose in a fine presentation box when you propose. The final ring we then design together, here in the workshop.
There are no fixed rules. We make individual solitaires from around € 1,200. Because the workshop is our own, your budget goes into the quality of the stone and the gold rather than into trade margins.
With a surprise that is the normal case. The first resizing is entirely free on every piece we make, and usually done within 24 to 48 hours.
Yes, very often. We clean the stone and build a setting made to measure for it.

Our own workshop certificate (included): with every ring we issue a detailed invoice together with our own certificate. It documents the alloy, the exact stone weight and the colour and clarity grade, bindingly, from us. This is included in the regular price and is entirely sufficient for most private purposes and for many household insurers.
International laboratory certificates (GIA, IGI, HRD, Gübelin etc.): on request we supply your solitaire (usually from 0.30 ct) with an international report from a leading gemmological institute. Such stones normally carry a microscopic laser inscription of the certificate number on the girdle.
A note on price: external laboratory testing and grading cost money. A diamond with an official GIA report is therefore somewhat dearer than an identical stone with our workshop certificate alone. We put both options in front of you before the purchase, openly and without a mark-up.
Plan on 3 to 6 weeks ideally. If the date of the proposal is close, talk to us – depending on the model, express work is possible from 2 weeks.
Yes. We examine outside pieces and heirlooms in our own workshop for authenticity, fineness and stone quality. On request we draw up a sound written appraisal for your insurer. We offer this examination as a separate service for a transparent fee.
Yes, at any time. For pieces we made and for jewellery you already own, we can carry out and document the examination and valuation later.
